2. Information We Collect
When you submit an inquiry, request a quotation, complete a project brief, or otherwise contact us, we may collect:
- Inquiry type, name, work email address, company name, and country or region;
- Telephone or WhatsApp number;
- Product interests, venue or project type, estimated purchase quantity, target timeline, customization requirements, and project details;

- Other business information you voluntarily provide.
Please do not submit government identification numbers, payment credentials, bank account information, health information, or other sensitive personal information through our inquiry forms.

Purposes and Legal Bases
3. How and Why We Use Personal Information
We may process personal information to receive, review, and respond to inquiries; understand purchasing, venue, distribution, and customization requirements; provide product information, quotations, and proposed solutions; arrange demonstrations or technical discussions; communicate about a potential or existing project; maintain business records; operate, troubleshoot, and secure the website; detect spam, fraud, attacks, and other misuse; improve website and form functionality; establish, exercise, or defend legal claims; and comply with applicable legal, accounting, tax, regulatory, and security obligations.
Submitting an inquiry does not automatically subscribe you to marketing communications.
4. Legal Bases for Processing
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, we process personal information on one or more of these bases:
- Your request or a potential contract: to respond to your inquiry, provide a quotation, or take steps you request before entering into a contract;
- Performance of a contract: to manage an agreed project, order, or business relationship;
- Legitimate interests: to respond to business inquiries, maintain appropriate records, protect the website, prevent misuse, and improve functionality, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights;
- Consent: where applicable law requires it or where we separately request it for a specific optional activity; and
- Legal obligations: to comply with applicable laws, regulations, court orders, accounting or tax requirements, and lawful requests from authorities.
Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
05–06
Storage and Cookies
5. How Inquiry Information Is Stored
Inquiry submissions are stored in the website’s WordPress database using Fluent Forms. Access is restricted to authorized personnel who need the information to review inquiries, communicate with potential customers, administer the website, or meet compliance obligations.
An inquiry notification may also be delivered to authorized personnel through the company’s email system. We do not currently connect the inquiry form to a customer relationship management platform, external lead webhook, advertising platform, or remarketing system.
6. Cookies and Similar Technologies
The website may use cookies or similar technologies necessary for core functionality, website and form security, session management, request validation, spam and abuse prevention, and essential technical settings.
As of the effective date, we do not use non-essential advertising, behavioral profiling, or remarketing cookies. If we introduce non-essential analytics, advertising, or tracking technologies, we will update this policy and, where required, provide controls to accept, reject, or manage them before activation.
07–08
Sharing and International Processing
7. How We Share Personal Information
We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Where reasonably necessary, information may be disclosed to authorized personnel handling inquiries; website hosting, maintenance, security, and technical-support providers; email and communications providers; professional advisers; logistics, installation, customization, or other project partners when necessary for a specific project and with appropriate notice or consent where required; and courts, regulators, law-enforcement bodies, or government authorities where required or permitted by law.
Service providers acting on our behalf are expected to process information only for the agreed purpose, apply appropriate security measures, and comply with applicable data-protection obligations. Where applicable law requires separate consent before disclosure to another independent processor or controller, we will request it before disclosure.
8. International Data Processing and Transfers
Our company is located in mainland China. If you access the website from another country or region and submit personal information, it will be transferred to and processed in mainland China. Data-protection laws in mainland China may differ from those in your country or region.
If we use a service provider in another country or otherwise transfer personal information across national borders, we will first implement the measures required by applicable law. These may include contractual safeguards, security assessments, certifications, regulatory procedures, or separate consent. Where applicable, you may contact us for further information about safeguards used for a particular transfer.
09–10
Retention and Information Security
9. Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. Our normal retention approach is:
- Inquiries that do not result in a transaction: up to 24 months after the last substantive communication;
- Customer, order, and project records: for the business relationship and afterward for the period required by applicable contractual, accounting, tax, or other legal obligations;
- Privacy requests and acknowledgment records: as long as reasonably necessary to demonstrate compliance and resolve requests or complaints;
- Website security and server logs: normally six months, unless longer retention is required for a security incident, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or legal claims; and
- Information subject to a dispute, investigation, or preservation obligation: until the matter and required preservation period have ended.
When information is no longer required, we will delete, anonymize, or otherwise securely dispose of it.
10. Information Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, misuse, loss, or destruction. Depending on the system, these may include encrypted transmission, access controls, account and permission management, website and server security controls, backups, security monitoring, and access restrictions based on legitimate business need.
No Internet transmission or electronic storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information through the website.
RIGHTS & DISCLOSURES
Your Rights and Additional Information
The following provisions explain your choices and several important limits of our current processing.
11
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to understand our processing; access or copy your information; correct or complete it; request deletion; restrict or object to processing; withdraw consent; request portability; opt out of marketing; ask about certain recipients or international transfers; and complain to an applicable data-protection authority. Visit joyddtech.com/contact/ and include “Privacy Request.” We may verify your identity and will respond within the period required by law.
12
Marketing Communications
Submitting an inquiry does not subscribe you to marketing. If we introduce a marketing program, we will present it separately and request any required consent. You may unsubscribe at any time. We may still send non-marketing messages needed for an inquiry, order, project, support request, or legal obligation.
13
Automated Decision-Making
We do not use inquiry-form information for solely automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects. If this changes, we will update this policy and provide required notices, explanations, rights, or consent mechanisms before beginning that processing.
14
Children’s Privacy
The website is intended for businesses and professional buyers and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child submitted information, please contact us so we can review and appropriately delete or otherwise address it.
15
Third-Party Links and Services
The website may link to third-party websites, social-media platforms, messaging services, or other external services. Those parties operate independently under their own privacy practices. This policy does not govern information you provide directly to them; review their privacy policies before providing information.
16
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this policy when our website, service providers, business practices, or legal obligations change. We will publish the updated version here with a revised “Last Updated” date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent before materially changing how previously collected information is used.
